Came to the US for 3 weeks on holiday (I'm from Europe), figured I should get a prepaid card for that time, so I bought a sim-card with credit for $30.
As part of the activation process, I requested a number transfer to a US number I used to have before.
This was supposed to be completed within 24 hours.
2 weeks and several customer service calls later I still can't use my phone and I'm leaving the country soon. $30 wasted
