Switched to T-Mobile on Feb 6 2019. We had two of our own new phones and needed 2 more phones for kids. Saw a promo for iPhone 6s for $350 with $190 cash back. The store rep in Chantilly VA said oh I can get you the phones and ship it you free of charge. Give me the...

I can't read such a long complaint but will agree on one point - I'd never select T-mobile ; just because of all of the pink. General principle ; they annoy me.

They used to have Catherine Zeta Jones, bearable even in commercials with the sound off....now, pink. Yuck.

Tmobile - T mobile cheated when adding a new line

I grandfathered t mobile plan for two lines for years. I called them to add a third line at the time of adding they told me is 10 $ per month for the extra line and i paid 25$ in activation. when the bill came they started charging $20 for the extra line. When i called customer accounts , they acknowledge their mistake and offered $10 refund for 3 months and will continue to charge $20 thereafter. I feel like i have been cheated as the $10 off for 3 months will only cover for activation and i will end up paying $20 for life long. Thanks t mobile for cheating your loyal customer who has been with t mobile for more than 10 years

Tmobile - Bait and switch

1.2
Details
T-Mobile offered 3 lines for $90 plus a $5 per line discount for autopay on their T-Mobile military plan. Once I moved to T-Mobile they charged an extra $15 and will only remove it if you enroll in autopay. This is a classic bait and switch tactic which is illegal in my state. Add T-Mobile to the list of predatory corporations trying to rip off our military members.

Tmobile - 2000 in charges, same plan for 3 years

1.6
Details
Been on a plan for the past 3 years that included calls, text and roaming inside of U.S, Canada and Mexico. About a month and a half ago I got a message saying that I owed $300, I called and no one was able to tell me why I was getting charged if I had not changed plans and I call the same numbers?, They told me to call in the next billing cycle because they couldn't tell me whats going on, I didn't stop there, I kept calling asking for a supervisor and all I got was representatives transferring me. Then the time to make a payment for my monthly service they told me to pay my normal monthly bill until they fixed the balance on my bill, at that point they still didn't have an answer of why my plan had changed.. Last week my bill came due and guess what I owe around $2000, and now basically I have to deal with it ? Last call I made was two days ago, spent an hour I after speaking to 5 reps, nothing was resolved. With the last rep I spoke to by the name of "Jen" she wanted to transfer me and at that point I started crying, I told her that I really needed my service because I"m on a treatment right now and my teenage kids need to be contacting me, she placed me on mute for 5 minuets with out telling me, then she came back and said hello, hello and hung up. You guys don't care even when a customer is in distress? I;m not a new customer, I've been with T Mobile for 10+ years. The funny part is that I get text messages from T mobile stating: "Welcome to Mexico! Don't worry, all is included?????

Tmobile - RIP OFF

1.0
Details
Paid $75.00/month for unlimited data but only got 200 megabytes because T-Mobile has no cell towers in this area. Called in May to ask what was going on and rep said since T-Mo has no cell towers I was on AT&T network and data is capped at 200 megabytes. Told him I wasn't paying $75.00/month for essentially no data and he agreed it made no sense and said he would switch me to their $25.00/month plan with no data. That was late May. On June 9th I switched service to AT&T so I could get data. On June 19th T-Mobile bills me another $75.00 (takes it out of my account). Call and they say they couldn't switch during the billing cycle. Yet they have charged me $75.00 for the UPCOMING billing cycle! So T-Mobile has charged me $150.00 for 2 months of "Unlimited" data service and I've gotten a total of 200 megabytes of data! You could not PAY ME TO GO BACK TO T-MOBILE!!!!!!

Tmobile - Deceiving and cheating that’s how they do business

My phone is now able to connect to the web. After hours of reboots and updates I went to t-mobile airport road and after a couple more hours of sales speech the sales man offer to get me a replacement using the insurance Jump. The replacement didn’t work either but the salesman try to trick me and gave me back my old phone and convincing me that was a replacement. That is plain stealing. Be aware if their tricks. Dead

Tmobile - Take great caution before using T Mobile

3.7
Details
Take great caution before using this carrier. I purchased a phone in store and when the persnickety sales associate said, “We’ll have to run your credit” (as if I had bad credit) well I should have walked out the door then. Not to mention she had to make a photo copy of my Drivers License and who knows where that ended up. I purchased a phone and selected a plan. When I returned to a friend’s house and pulled the phone for the first time, there was already a text picture message on the phone from and unknown source. That should have been clue number one that someone could already manipulate the phone but instead of taking the phone back I deleted the message. And oh yes, they couldn’t port my number over immediately (unlike other cellular providers). They gave me a temporary phone number and I was told since it was on a Sunday that it would be the next day before my existing number would be operational. I still wondering what happened to the temporary phone number that was used to open an account in my name especially since they ran my credit. Hope no one starting using that phone number the day after they ported my existing number. When I decided to end my contract after receiving multiple texts from people who said they didn’t text me and vice versa, I was misinformed about how they handle bills when you cancel. Not to mention other oddities that would make anyone paranoid when using a smartphone. I had already paid in full for my phone and I was told on more than one occasion that if I wanted to cancel my contract during the middle of a statement cycle my account would be prorated accordingly. When I called to cancel my contract after a statement billing cycle, I was given a prorated amount by a phone associate and who told me when I paid the nominal amount, the account would be considered paid in full and closed. This was not the case as I received another statement. I was double billed after canceling and paying the prorated agreed upon price. I spoke with several different associates who refused to adjust the account to zero. Not one of them honored, nor backed up the paid in full amount the first individual gave me. I was told if I didn’t pay my account it would eventually go into collections. Now I could have mailed a letter to their customer service address but I didn’t. Nor did I follow through with my intentions of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I ended up paying for a month of service that I didn’t use. BEWARE of this company and their fraudulent business practices. Their phone associates can apparently say whatever they want and no one has to back the other person up. One word -- LIARS

T mobile is the most greedy phone company in the USA. They tell you a price when you are in the office but then, later on, you start to receive over price bills month to month and they say is because the tax is variable!!!

*** that! I wanted to cancel so bad my phone plan because this issue and I ended up paying I don't know much for cancellation fee and whatever they wanted to charge me but I did because I don't want to ruin my credit because of you Stupid Tmobile!!

Tmobile - They lied and stole from me

1.0
Details
My exchange students went in to get a phone, they wanted to keep their phones they brought from home. After charging them for sim cards and a prepaid service promising their phones would work and that they would not be in a contract. We discovered that the one of the phones did not work. It was hours of trying to get the phone to be disconnected. They also insisted on putting "free" services that we did not want to try for one month. This morning (over a month since we disconnected the service and had the numbers ported out) I woke up to an alert that they charged me Credit card not only for the phones but also the additional services we did not want and asked to have taken off. When I called the number posted with the charge the service reps refused to assist me and stated that if I had an issue with the charge to take in up with the credit card company they would not help me. Do not trust this company.

Tmobile - T-mobile sent me a bill totaling over $2100 in charges after I cancelled service with them.

Shanna Huber Shanna Huber I am a small business owner and had two accounts with T-mobile. One business and one personal. My personal account was with T-mobile for over 9 years!! My cost kept going up. I asked for one of their promo rates and was told I had to leave T-moble and come back as a new user to get the promo. So... I left. AFTER my final bills, I received a $1,049 bill on my personal line and a $1,140 bill on my business line. My business is very new and my bills were $120 monthly on the business and $230 on my personal line. After one month they sent me to two different collection agencies to hound me and when I called to get a detailed account of how much I owe I was told they cannot tell that to me because my account was closed and in collections. I was planning on coming back, but after this experience there is NO WAY I will ever return. I now have an attorney to try to get a detailed account of why they say I owe this much (costing me more money). This is ridiculous. This is more than my son's car cost! now when I call I get transferred and hung up on every time. #worstexperienceever!
