I canceled my T-Mobile prepaid account today. There was a balance of $39 and change.

T-Mobile announced they were going to keep the remaining funds on my account - no refund!!!

Eventually they let me transfer the balance to my daughter's account, but now she has a positive balance she doesn't need (and will never get back from this rapacious company when she cancels her service).

This is blatant, petty profiteering. The company of course has my credit card information, and has been charging my card for years.

But apparently it is too hard for them to refund the $39 balance to my credit card. Or else too profitable, because they can do this to millions of people.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $39.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
