Billing Department Review

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. I have been a customer since the late 90s. I have called 4 times to drop one of my phones. They have jerked me around promising if I try another plan it will be cheaper that is if I keep the phone.Every bill has been even higher. They lie lie lie. They are impossible to deal with. Don't believe a thing they say. I am looking for a new company.

I don't know where this website posts your information but beware you will receive TONS of phone calls from alot of place with thick accents. I had signed up on this website to try it out within a couple days the volume of calls was just unreal.

And when I started asking them to remove my number from their call lists they either hung up on me or one male decided to inform me that he has *** my mother, wife, and girlfriend" Along with other comments.

That website is the only one that I used my number on so there is no doubt they got it from them. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.

STOLE MY MONEY!!

Worst experience of my life! The manager there (Justin Harvey) was a joke. Yesterday, less than 24 hours ago, he was such a nice guy when he was selling me something. Today, I am back in there to return my defective phone and he reminds me about the $50 restock fee...fine, I knew it was coming. Then, he tells me the $85 dollars that I just spent for the first month of service was non refundable!!! Why didn't he mention that when he was pushing the service on me?? Well, I asked him that question and he said he “assumed I knew”!!!! He finally just stopped talking to me so I called customer service while in the store. They told me that had I paid with a credit card, they could refund me, but since it was cash, JUSTIN HARVEY had to refund me...and when I asked again, he said NO and walked away!!! So, for less than 24 hours with a phone, I basically handed JUSTIN HARVEY the MANAGER, $135 for his troubles!! When I asked for his managers contact information, he said he was not allowed to give it out, but you can bet I will find him. And to top it all off, since I paid cash, I now have to wait 4-8 weeks to get the money back that they did decide I was entitled to. At all cost...STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE AND THE MANAGER JUSTIN HARVEY!!! 970-494-****, JUSTIN.HARVEY28@T-mobile.com….If you have any problems, you will be on your own, and without your money.

T-Mobile withholds account credit balances

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We had a couple of T-Mobile's "Pay-As-You-Go" Legacy accounts,... no contract, no statements. A few days ago, we contracted with AT&T Wireless, and AT&T performed a routine deactivation/cancellation of our T-Mobile service so we could port our existing numbers to AT&T. We called T-Mobile's billing dept. the next day to check on our account credit balances ($100+), and were informed they we would forfeit any credits due our cancellation. The only alternative we were offered was to assign the credit to another T-Mobile customer. This is common THIEVERY,... its our funds, not theirs! Apparently, T-Mobile thinks its customers are just captives, and subject to their internal rules. We signed no contract, and expected a refund of our credit balances, just as we would have from any legitimate business. We've filed complaints with the California Public Utilities Commission and the FCC.

I had the exact same experience. They refuse to refund my money in any form.

Their only solution is a balance transfer, yet my dissatisfaction with their service is what prompted me to go with another carrier. They are stealing.

The only thing worse than the stealing is their customer support.

I have been lied to, bullied and hung up on by their "representatives". I will never again use T-Mobile.

T-Mobile store here and in the Presidents office are a nothing but liars

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was with at&t for 16 years and was convinced by my husband that I was paying too much for 2 phones, so I go to T-Mobile store and Manuel convinced me that it would be about $40 cheaper than AT&T, so I go with it......he GUARANTEED me that my monthly bill would NOT be over $140 to $145 a month. Well when I receive my first bill it was $242 dollars! So I call and tried to get an explanation and they informed me that it was the cost of the phones and since I didn't trade any phones it is why it was higher....First off, I traded in a Samsung Galaxy S4 and a I-phone 4 was told that I was getting a $279 trade in value towards the phones....it took 2 months for them to finally post that to my account and the other issue was I was never told that I was "financing 2 iPhone 5s for 24 months and that is why my bill was so expensive I know the phones were not free but I was NEVER told that they were almost $600 per phone and it would be divided by 24 months and that amount would be added to my monthly bill and I even once more before I left the store asked about the monthly payment because that was the only reason I went there, I had NO problems with att except for my payment being $178 a month and once again he guaranteed me that it would not be over $145 at the most.......meanwhile I forgot to tell you I was selling my SUV at the time and the sales guy seemed to be more interested in that than giving me all the information of what I was doing. So I tried to handle this with the store, I got nowhere, so I called customer service and they requested a copy of my paperwork that I signed b/c I do not have a copy of anything signing that I was financing 2 phones for $1200 something dollars divided by 24 months.....well after 3 weeks of not hearing from them I called again and they were so rude and told me that there was nothing they could do. So then I send an email to the President of T-Mobile and I get a nice lady who called and seemed to be very concerned about what was going on so once again I was told that they would call the store and call me back on Monday, this was a Thursday. Monday comes and of course I hear nothing, finally I give it 2 weeks and call her back and she basically told me the same BUT that I could return my I-phones I was "financing" through them and that they would return me my $279 trade in value since they was not able to return my original phones that I traded and they would erase the balance left owed on the so called financing. I in turn told her I wanted a copy of all the paperwork related to my account basically so I could see if there was a paper with my signature about an added payment to my monthly plan and a letter stating the part about the $279 refund I would be getting and something noting that I would not owe anything else towards the balance of those phone when returned, well guess what I have yet to receive it and I want to switch and go back to at&t who has the I-phone 5s for $99 each, YEP not $500 something dollars...but I can't afford to do that until I know for sure I will be getting the $279 that will help pay for the balance on last bill from tmobile.

He's a big fraud, he will tell iPhone 5s/6/6-plus at cheaper rates like 400$, 600$.. Once you order for the mobiles, he will tell you to deposit 90$ as clearance fee in agent account (some random account number), after that he will tell you to deposit again 10000INR as custom tax fee.. But he wont turn up with the phone even after paying clearance fee of 90$.. For proving himself he will give send a duplicate custom certificate in your names and even his passport.. There has been nothing redeeming about my experience with TMobile. From the untrained, rude, unhelpful store staff to the online Facebook monitors that quickly hide from the social media public how non-customer service oriented the entire company is. Oh, they will smile and say please and thank you while continuing to spit on you. Even after you undeniably prove how wrong they are, you get no satisfaction and still no resolution. Don't do business with them. You will regret it, I do. They have lied, played bait and switch and can't even fulfil a simple promise to be in contact with you. I wait for hours for a call back. tHey don't even seem to be able to talk to their own internal departments. I can only guess they stay in business out of sheer volume and the ability to sucker new people everyday.

Network is almost non-existent

The T Mobile network drops calls all the time. T Mobile has no service in downtown areas in my region, making it useless when I am at work. I finally left T Mobile for another carrier after a year and for the final bill T Mobile charged one full month of service even though I had their service for two days in the billing cycle. When I complained to customer service I was basically told that it is in their customer agreement somewhere and I should pay up and shut up. This company is a scam. Don't use them or your phone will be a paperweight most of the time. Yes, T Mobile sucks!

Locked Phone when changing Provider

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I had a pre-paid phone for over a year andI recently tried to port my phone to another carrier from T-Mobile. When I received my new sim card and ported my number, my phone was then locked. I called T-Mobile and talked to multiple customer service reps. who only told me my phone had to be active to port my number and that there was nothing they could do and I would have to open a new acct and pay $100 activation fee. Spoke to two "supervisors" and one said he would connect me to Nokia (maker of my phone) and they would have to give me an unlock code. When he tried to connect me to Nokia he cut me off. So i called Nokia myself and was told that they do not give out unlock codes. That T-mobile had lied to me. The carrier is the one who generates the unlock code. T-mobile also kept telling me to go to an unlock code web site, which I tried and they did not have my phone listed. One customer service rep told me to go buy another starter kit and activate the sim card and then I could port my number (new number I had now lost my original phone number) Ok, I got a new starter kit and guess what that did not work.either. After almost a week of the T-Mobile run around and expense of another starter kit. I called the T-Mobile corporate office in Washington state. I spoke with a member of the Exec Response team and it took less than 30 min. and my phone was unlocked and working and I got to keep my old number and no $100 activation charge. So in conclusion I spent 1wk of no phone and must headache and frustration and $20.00 for another starter kit, when all this could have been handled the first day if their customer service reps and supervisors were properly trained. Oh and I forgot to say all the time I was talking with a customer service rep it was like talking to someone at a sporting event or rock concert. There was so much noise in the background I could hardly hear the rep. So if anyone else has trouble with T-mobile here is the corporate phone number 1-42*-378-**** ask for the Exec. Response Team. They are on pacific time and close at 5pm . Hope this post saves someone else a lot of headaches

TMobile cannot send a simple email

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought an S3 on ebay, this phone was blocked on Oct 9, no email or text was sent to me about it, so i called to know why, they told me that phone was being financed on another account and was still due. I got a new phone, an S5, from their store and sent the S3 to them. In order to reverse the payment transaction, my bank requires proof that the phone was blocked so I called TMobile to get one and to my surprise all the people i spoke with told me they cannot sent me a note (mail, email or fax) saying that the S3 was blocked and why. How can a company/customer rep cannot send an email to a customer? It is beyond me. Not to mention that only the last person i spoke with understood what i wanted. They all got confused, they told me i was not supposed to send the phone back to them, that they were not responsible (which i never told them they were), it was just a bad incredible experience requesting a note or email about something in my account. Well, guess what? i was unable to get them to email me that statement eventhough i have been with tmobile probably some 12 years.

Tmobile Service representative broke my Iphone and did not take responsibility

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I went to T-Mobile Store at 626, E golf Road, Schaumburg, IL, 60173. for migrating 2 numbers from one Account to another account of t-mobile on 1st Dec'2014 While Changing the SIM card, I believe the representative (Taskeen) dropped my phone broke my Iphone Back Glass , as I was busy with my second phone activation I did not see when he dropped. With out informing me, he put the Cover case back and activated. So I could not see what happened to phone back. After 2 days(3rd Dec) while cleaning the phone I found there was big crack at backside of phone. When I went back to store to complain, they don't even want to listen what happened, ultra arrogant lead/Manager Jacqueline Lucas, says Taskeen did not drop it. I believe, they should set a process after handling customer phone, where they will show to customer properly the phone with out putting back all case covers, show that everything fine after they activate or do some service to the phone. I know I don't have a proper case here, because I did not see him dropping and I went back after 2 days. But I am disappointment with overall team there in handling the situation, and try to mend the process or talk on what happend. Irresponsible Team and agents working in that Store. I have now moved from T-Mobile to AT&T due to this service and issue.
